-CURRENTLY CLOSED- Café im Modellpark Berlin-Brandenburg

With a view of the assembled sights of Berlin and Brandenburg, dine or drink coffee – this can only be done in the Model Park in the Wuhlheide.

Dear friends of the Model Park, dear visitors,

The model park is closed—the models are on the go.

The model park will not open in 2026. Don’t worry: Even though the model park is no longer open to the public, that doesn’t mean our more than 80 models are going anywhere. On the contrary—they’re setting off on a journey! They get a chance to catch their breath, are lovingly cared for, polished, and brought to a high shine, and then head out into the district.

Instead of waiting for visitors to come to them, they go to the people: In the future, selected models will be on display in public buildings, shopping centers, and other high-traffic locations, thereby reaching an even wider audience.

Small models, big themes

The models are designed to spark curiosity and encourage conversation. A particular focus is placed on the historical, political, and democratic education of children and young people.

Every model has its own story

Insights into architecture, current events, political contexts, or specific historical backgrounds: Every model has a story to tell. All you have to do is stop and listen (or read).

The model park remains closed; the models are exploring new avenues. At a standstill? No way!
